Standardisation and analytical development

Actilait’s centre for standardisation and analytical development provides technical contributions and expertise for the harmonisation of national and international analytical referentials.

Main missions::

• Development of analytical methods,
• Active participation in the work of several commissions (IDF, Afnor ISO, Icar) for updating and developing standards.

In this regard, the centre animates, amongst others:

• The IDF Standing Committee on Main components in milk,
• The Analysis methods sub-committee and the International network of ICAR (International Committee for Animal Recording) reference laboratories,
• The IDF / ISO work group on nitrogen compounds.
